UC Riverside junior Josh Mendoza and sophomore Tyler Kaan finished fifth and ninth, respectively, in the men's invitational 8-kilometer race at the Highlander Invitational hosted by UC Riverside at the Ag-Ops Course in Riverside, Calif. Mendoza clocked 23:51.5, with Kaan running 23:59.9 for the host Highlanders, who prevailed by a 63-123 victory against The Master's College.
