UC Riverside sophomore teammates Linda Perez and Collette Lowengrub finished second and sixth in their section of the 10,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Perez ran a lifetime-best 32:59.10 to lower her own program record from 33:50.14 last year and Lowengrub also ran faster than the previous Highlanders' all-time mark by clocking 33:17.02.
