The UC Riverside Men's Cross Country Team was one of five programs recognized Wednesday morning as Big West Fall Sportsmanship Award winners. Conference Commissioner Dennis Farrell made the announcement honoring the Highlanders in both men's cross country and volleyball; UC Davis in women's soccer; Long Beach State in women's cross country; and Cal Poly in men's soccer. The Sportsmanship Award is voted upon by the respective student-athletes in each of the Big West's 16 championship sports.
