Palo Alto, CA—The UC Riverside Track & Field Teams sent a small contingent of distance runners to the Stanford Invitational this weekend, and Seth Totten ran the fastest 5,000m in more than 30 years for the Highlanders finishing in 13:51.20—just over two seconds off of the program record of 13:49.00 set by All-American Steve Alvarez back in 1981. That mark is also one of the top 10 times in the nation this season.
