Linda Perez of UC Riverside, competing in her second outdoor season, placed second in the women's collegiate 10,000 meters in a personal-best 33:50.14 at the 62nd Mt. SAC Relays Presented by Nike at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif. Perez improved on her previous-best 34:35.78 from March 25 at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival at UCLA.
